First introduced in 1956, the 7402 Butterfly Chair is an enduring icon of Ercol design, combining timeless style with everyday practicality. Its distinctive curved backrest and seat are steam-bent to create a beautifully sculpted silhouette that offers exceptional comfort and support. Traditional Windsor wedge and tenon joinery ensures a strong, durable frame, with each joint expertly sanded flush for a seamless finish built to withstand daily use.

Crafted from solid ash and available in a range of finishes, the Butterfly Chair complements both classic and contemporary interiors. For added comfort, it is also available with an upholstered seat, with fabrics available from the Ercol collection.
