The Venice sofa bed collection is ideal for comfort and style. Sourcing materials from sustainable resources is a priority, and with this very much in mind, materials and components are purchased from all round the world to bring the design to life. Using the finest mechanisms in our sofa beds and a two-fold slatted mechanism allows use of the most comfortable sprung mattress available. A two-fold mechanism ensures that the mattress is only folded once rather than twice. The webbing at the foot end of the bed becomes the platform for the seating when in the closed position. The mattress is supplied with a fully sprung 13½ gauge mattress with comfort layers of hypo-allergenic bonded polyester encased in an attractive cover which is then tufted to ensure maximum comfort and durability.  For customers requiring the ultimate in luxury, an upgrade to a visco-elastic foam mattress is available. The top layer of sumptuous slow recovery foam is encased in a soft velour cover which can be unzipped and removed for easy cleaning.
